Voting Information
Absentee Voting
Do you need to vote from home? No problem. Request an Absentee Ballot at NMVote.org.
Once you request it, you can track your absentee ballot online. Track when your ballot will arrive to you, and when it gets back to your county clerk. Additional information at NM Secretary of State.
Key dates:
May 7 – Absentee Ballots begin getting mailed out
May 21 – Last day to request at absentee ballot
June 4, 7 p.m. – Absentee Ballot must be in the hands of election officials.
Be sure to give mail delivery plenty of time. You can also drop off your ballot at your county clerk’s office or at any polling location in your county.
If you mail your ballot back, but it still has not been received by Election Day, you still have the option to go to a polling place and cast a ballot. You will need to sign an affidavit canceling the mailed ballot you submitted.
